I deleted my Twitter account (again)

March 12, 2010

I’ve been on Twitter for about three years. A fun experiment, but I’ve grown tired.

My time on this earth would be better spent doing work, meeting people, regularly updating at least one of our three websites, exercising and being with my family.

Today I made the decision to permanently delete the account. In the past, I just deactivated it. Now it’s gone forever.

So, goodbye Twitter. Hello, more free time.

Did the same within about a week (or two) after creating my account. I just couldn’t be bothered.

Never liked Twitter.  I can understand its usefulness to some extent, but it really wasn’t my cup of tea.

Glad I’m not alone. Twitter ends up creating a TON of noise. Some of that noise was good, but most of it just made me more anxious.
